The new u-Series product line offers a higher capacity and extended operating range, along with an updated communication protocol and service tool. With Toshiba’s advanced global innovations, Carrier offers a highly flexible, industry leading system with efficient, quiet, and space-saving solutions for virtually any VRF application.
Performance Features
New Elite Heat Model (6-30 tons)
- Increased heating operation range down to -22F (down to -30F for Elite Heat Models)
- Increased cooling operation from -10F to 125F
- New heat exchanger design with increased surface area
- High performance outdoor units with all Inverter driven twin and tri-rotary compressor
- DC Inverter condenser fan motor
- 208/230-3-60Hz or 460-3-60Hz voltage
Reliability Features
New DLC (diamond like coating) coating for compressor vanes for enhanced reliability
- 2 Stage compressor vanes for reduced vane stress during operation
- All equipment wiring complies with NEC requirements
- Unit constructed in accordance with ETL requirements
- Unit performance is in accordance with AHRI 1230 standards
- Compressor and condenser fan motor are Inverter driven
- Finned tube heat exchanger
- Suitable for R-410a refrigerant
Installation Features
Two (2) different chassis with reduced footprint from previous e-Series models
- Indoor units can be connected using Y-branch joints, branch headers, flow selector box or multiport flow selector box
- Factory provided controls
- Individual power connection for each module
- Outdoor units are connected using twinning kits provided from factory
Effective 8/1/24, the warranty for our VRF equipment will include an opportunity for a 10-year parts and compressor limited warranty. If not registered within 90 days, the warranty will be a 5-year parts and 7-year compressor limited warranty.1
