Had this new system installed Fall of 2020. We need to set our thermostat to 74 to be comfortably warm in our house in the Colorado winters, which is a bit high in my opinion. But the system has worked well consistently; relatively quiet compared to our previous 18\-year\-old furnace. Can't beat the warranty offered through our installer Plumbline.

I am still trying to find a comfortable temperature with the Carrier unit. So far, I've found that setting it at 72 gives (close to) the same amount of heat that my old Lennox did set at 69. Maybe it's just a difference in how they're made. I'll see how it compares on my next electric bill.

Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.

This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
