Equipped with InteliSense Technology, this air handler supports connected comfort and remote system monitoring through your trusted Carrier dealer. To activate these features, it must be paired with an ecobee for Carrier Smart Thermostat, and homeowners must opt into data sharing. Pairing with the thermostat also offers enhanced control and potential energy savings.

It works as it should

It's in the attic, so out of sight, out of mind. The hook up of the new unit to partial new hose and partial old hose caused a major leak overhead which required drying out/reconnection/patching ceiling and repainting my bathroom at my expense. Because it was under warranty, the reattachment cost was covered but I still had an expense, which I believe could have been avoided if the installer had replaced the 90 connector with new connecting fluid on each side of the 90. The old connection without new fluid caused the water leakage. It was detected late due to needed heat in the winter and the problem showed up with the ac running. Product is one thing, install is another.

Poor manufacturing. Not built to last. Carrier not what they used to be. Living off their reputation from years ago when they were built much better.

Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
