Furnace Repair & Service

Excellent installation. They even installed a temporary blower until they were able to replace the furnace.

We have used Mann-In for 20-25 years. They have installed several Carrier systems for us, and we have always had excellent service and support!

Bought two units. The first one has worked for 8 years without any issues.

We moved into our home in 1998 and have used Mann-In as our heating/cooling folks ever since. This is the second system installed by them and it is working very well.

They added a zoning system and followed through until all the settings were to what we had hoped. This entailed a second visit back to the house, maybe even a third.

We bought our first system with them in 2017. Due to that excellent experience, with both the salesman and the installation team, we knew we would replace our other unit with them too, which we did last summer. The business has now shifted to the second generation of ownership, but the service is still excellent.

Very efficient, professional and attentive to details; excellent customer service and care.

Very professional experience from start to finish. All staff are responsive when the unit requires service.

Very professional and I apprecaite the recommendation to add a return duct in the basement family room to provide better air flow. The sales represenative was very knowelgeable and showed me the calculations to indicate a the 2.5 Ton AC was adquate to cool the house and there was no need to install a 3 ton unit. They were referred by Checkbook.org

Really bailed us out in sweltering summer heat. Lent an AC unit when our whole house AC died. Scheduled us within a few weeks, best price. We also added furnace purchase. ALL Mann-In personnel were top notch, didn't try to up-sell anything. We'll deal with them long term. (Note: We learned of Mann-In from Washington Consumers' Checkbook magazine. It was not listed on your pre-selected list of choices, so I checked "referral.")

Very good communication and work performance.

Mann-In has been a very reliable and honest dealer that has given me great service.

Excellent Service

Responsive, helpful,efficient,

As in the past their Attributes were exceptional.

Furnace installation done very well. As was previous installaion 22 years ago. Service and maintenance agreements from them are great. They send very knowledgeable servicemen. We use them for mini. split and main furnace. We have used Mann\-In for over 25 years\-\-\-\-\-always very happy with their service.

We researched several companies to replace our HVAC system; Mann\-In stood out at the top of all the competition. The HVAC installation went extremely well and surpassed our expectations. New equipment installation issues were quickly and professionally resolved. The Mann\-In team provided consistent professional service, timely communication, and best value for the HVAC system purchased.

Very prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. Helped me through every step, never tried to take advantage, answered every question I had. The installation itself was very smooth and quick, and the new system is running great!

Very happy with the technicians that do the work. They are courteous and professional

I have worked with Mann\-in for over 23 years. Buck Bradley sold me my first system for my old house, after interviewing 5 companies. They kept my system alive for 23 years. I only replaced due to age and a part no longer available, as well as to upgrade to high efficiency system. This ENTIRE company never disappoints. The professionalism, presentable, clean, and knowledgeable staff from sales to office to install is remarkable. Family owned and local a plus! The install Friday went without issue. Mark arrived, explained what was to happen in detail, then Scooter set the floor protectors, and a third helper arrived shortly after. Complete system inside and out keeping same duct work from before. They work like a well orchestrated team. I did not even hear them working. They finished early, cleaned up, took away all trash. Mark explained the new system in detail. Answered any questions and reminded me to call office for any reason. They finished EARLY! I'm so happy to have my quiet, more efficient new system. This is my third project performed my MANN\-IN. I use no other. Service , warranty, and a kind conversation, professionalism. I can't say enough. Thank you once again.

Mann\-In gave us a loaner air conditioner when our old system failed during a renovation. The old Carrier system was 15 years old and we elected to replace the air conditioner and furnace. We have used Mann\-In for 15 years and trust them to do the job correctly. From Installation, semi\-annual inspections to repairs, Mann\-In has always done an excellent job. Thank you Mann\-In.

Our experience is first class with Mann\-In. We bought our first system from them over 20 years ago. Been with them ever since and wouldn't dream of using anyone else. Everyone I have interacted with at the company over the years has been a pleasure to speak with and work with to keep our systems up and running. We have 4 separate units and got them all there.

Everyone I spoke with was extremely helpful. Nothing but positive things to say about Mann\-In

Answered all our questions

They are extremely professional, competent, courteous and efficient.

Installation fast and professional

This company and all its personnel are the best. They are knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant. The reason I used them the first time, decades ago is that they were not pushy. The salesman was up front about everything from equipment to cost.

I chose to use this company based on previous experience with them. I was happy with them 17 years ago. That's why I went with them again.

Long time customer, happy with their services. Our family trust them for all our HVAC needs.

Terrific team. Really happy with Mann\-In.

They were great and did an excellent job

My go\-to for several years.

Outstanding. We decided to go with a new furnace. They brought in a used part and installed it so we could have heat while we waited for the new furnace. All the mechanics were top notch and best of all, nice. The cleaned up everything perfectly when they were done. Super job!

Mann\-In installed the original HVAC in our home 32 years ago; highly trained, long serving, pleasant professionals who always respond to our needs and patiently explain what they are doing; have not and would not go anywhere else; highly recommend.

I was referred to Mann\-In Inc by a neighbor and couldn't have had a better experience. From the initial walkthrough and estimate through the installation and cleanup, Mann\-In Inc and their entire team were true professionals. They even made a special trip to move my old unit to make room for an unrelated construction project while we were waiting for all the parts for our new unit to arrive. If you're in NoVa, please reach out to them for your project.

Very happy with service from start to finish

Third system installation

Very professional installation crew. They replaced my 22 year old heat pump with a new 5 speed. I had several questions about the equipment which were thoroughly explained, plus a good demo of the new high tech thermostat. The service rep made some useful suggestions on configuration which make a difference in multi level comfort. Mann\-In is highly recommended in our neighborhood social media \- I now know why. Thanks!

We recommend without reservation. Responsive, respectful, trustworthy. Above and beyond our expectations.

The Carrier unit, out of the box, had a defective gas valve unit. So there was no heat, and the installation team could not completely finish their post\-installation testing. Not installation team's fault\-\-they were professional and did a great job and I rate them highly. The next day they picked up a replacement part from Carrier, installed it, and completed the system testing. So I feel they handled this hardware defect very professionally. I obtained four quotes before choosing this installer. This quote was the most professionally written with good detail on what was included. It was not the lowest price, but this company had good ratings in Washington Consumer Checkbook, and I did not go with lowest bidder.

Very good service. ++++

Highly recommended.

All of the Mann\-In personnel are true professionals. Each individual provided excellent service. The on\-site estimator/technical consultant (Buck Bradley) as well as the installation technician were outstanding in their recommendations and work. Mann\-In is a quality organization.

This is a great customer service focused organization. Mann\-In installed a new HVAC system on my previous house 6 years ago. They did such a great job with the installation and follow on service that when I bought my next house and it needed a new HVAC system I called them right away. I did not even competively bid the work as I new I wanted Mann\-In to continue to service my HVAC needs in the new house. They are that good!

Mann\-In is first rate!

Best Knowledge and HVAC Service in NoVa. It is a true pleasure to do business with Mann\-In INC

Highly professional work in a timely manner

They are quick with service and keep you updated as just when they will be there. Very nice and respectful. Explains what they are doing and why. My unit needed to be replaced. They were here for service on Friday, I received a quite on Saturday and by Tuesday my new unit was up and running. The cost and warranty from them are very good. They did all the paperwork with CARRIER for that warranty.

I have been dealing with Mann\-In, Inc for over 28 years they are very professional and provide the best service in the area. They converted my first fixer\-upper with an old boiler and window AC units to a 90 Plus Carrier HVAC unit and manufactured all the duct work. Since then they have upgraded one other property. I use Mann\-In, Inc for all my HVAC needs including my seasonal maintenance and will continue to do so.

Initial sales contact did a thorough evaluation of existing install. Installation was completed on schedule. System works as promised!

An excellent experience overall. Very professional and customer friendly

Mann\-In cares about each customer like their own. SUCH a breath of fresh air coming from ACE!

Super professional. The sales person was awesome and informative. No hard sales, just information to make an educated decision, and answered questions after. Once we signed the contract, the PM and installer came through, did their measurements, and then came back and installed the system. They cleaned up everything. Would use them again

Perfection! Everyone arrived on time and completed the job in the time frame promised. They respected my home and left everything in ideal condition. Instructions on the new system and thermostat were provided and plenty of documentation and materials were left. Also, they kept reminding me that I could call with any questions I might have. A++

Very knowledgeable

The company was very professional and knowledgable. They did not try to "oversell me". I solicited two other bids from reputable HVAC companies, and their price was the best. The County Inspector passed the installation on the first visit, and he remarked that the workmanship was top notch.

Nursed along our "beyond\-permanent\-repair" heat pump to keep us cool during weeks of 90+ temps until our new system could be installed. Considerate, polite and competent. To notch service!

great service, friendly, fast, efficient, very knowledgeable and quickly understood the project at hand.

I have used Mann\-In to install systems in the last three houses that I have lived in over the last 23 years. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I recommend them highly!

Mann In Inc recently installed my new Carrier HVAC system. They arrived early, as promised, and kept the work space clean and tidy. The technicians kept me informed of their progress, and then took the time to review the new system and thermostat. I've used Mann In for my normal seasonal servicing, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Called another HVAC company first. They were not a Carrier dealer like Mann\-In and tried to overcharge me for a part that I found out would not fix the problem after 3 visits. Since they were not a Carrier dealer, the tech could not figure out the problem and I ended up paying for parts I did not need. But the tech tried to overcharge me for one of parts. I complained to mgt. and got all my money back. Then I called Mann\-In who originally installed the unit years ago. They knew what the problem was immediately and made plans to fix the issue. The only problem we had was the supply chain issue in receiving a new Carrier AC unit because of the pandemic. So we had to wait for a long time to get the new unit. Mann\-In was stellar \- they found a window unit to help us beat the oppressive summer heat and control humidity. Without it, we would have suffered greatly! Thank you for going above and beyond! The new unit finally arrived about 7 weeks later and things are cool again!

Delighted client for 30+ years. They handled the electric\-to\-gas conversion at our first home in the 90's. They re\-designed the builder\-installed system in our current home and added a three\-zone damper system to service the first floor of our home in 2019. We saw a significant reduction in our energy consumption due to this re\-design. Yesterday, they installed air returns and a four\-zone damper system to service four 2nd floor bedrooms. This corrected the undersized fresh air return that caused the attic system to sound like a jet in the Master bedroom when it was on. We had our first quiet night's sleep in 18 years! Mann\-In is THE BEST.

Fantastic unit and service. I used to run my AC at 68 degrees all the time with this new unit the humidity is constantly in the mid to high 30's and as a result the house is very cool at 72/73 degrees. The unit is exceptionally quiet too!

Everything that the Mann In team said would happen and the timing was exactly what happened. Very refreshing in today's environment

I highly recommend the professionals at Mann\-In HVAC

It was a pleasure working with Buck to identify the best system for my home. The installation was flawless and staff are courteous and knowledgeable. I am sticking with this company!

I've had great service from Mann\-in and wish I had stumbled upon them earlier.

I have had experience with a number of HVAC companies over the years and have never been more satisfied than our recent experience with Mann\-In. From the request for Quote to the installation of the Carrier HVAC system; Mann\-In employees did everything in a professional and caring manor. I would recommend Mann\-In without hesitation.

Have used Mann In for 31 years. First at 2 homes that we rented and then our own home. Our initial system was installed in 2004 and 17 years later when our hot water heater began to leak, then took care of us the next day. I then requested a quote and installation of our 17 year old Carrier furnace and AC system. Mann\-In's quote was reason and they worked within my schedule and provided a system that far exceeds our expectations.

Though cost may possibly be higher then some others; the tradeoff is well worth it as great all around: quality, professionalism, knowledge, sales, installation, owner involvement, office support, equipment offering, etc...

The team did a superior job in every respect. They wore masks, were careful with our floors getting to and from the utility closet, and cleaned up well afterward. They were careful to explain everything and were a pleasure to deal with and have in our home.

I've used Mann\-In for installation and service for the past 10 plus years. They are reliable, fast, friendly, and do great work.

Mann\-In staff are profession and helpful in all interactions I have had; reliable with integrity and excellent service.

Extremely professional. Listened to my needs and concerns. Did not try to oversell. Cleaned up afterwrds

Professional and competent technicians. Services are delivered at a fair price.

Quick and professional installation. Very high quality. Took the time to answer all of my questions and a few I didn't have to ask.

Perfect installation design and implementation. Can't do it any better. Mann\-In treats you like family.

We have used Mann\-In multiple times, for both heating and cooling needs. They are wonderful to work with and never hesitate to come out for servicing any issues.

Very professional

Mann\-In did a great job from beginning to end. The salesperson clearly explained the various options without a hard sell, and the quote provided clear explanations of the cost options. The installers worked quickly and well, arrived on time, finished ahead of time, and cleaned up after themselves. I cannot think of any way in which the process could have worked better.

From the original bid to do the work to the actual installation Mann\-In provided excellent service. Mann\-In installed the previous system in 2001 and provided service during the old system's life.

Our Mann\-In installation crew showed up on time and finished their work ahead of schedule. They used drop\-cloths on all of the surfaces they needed access to and left their workspaces very clean. After completing the installation, I was given a detailed walkthrough of the system and thermostat, as well as all of the paperwork required. The entire experience exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend them!

Excellent customer service! Efficient and patient! Excellent experience from beginning to end!

Thrilled with thorough proposals provided by Buck Bradley and his interest in answering our questions definitely sold us on Mann\-In and installation crew was great.

Very good job communicating throughout the process. Would definitely recommend.

Professional and very knowledable

Such a nice group to call on to help replace my heating\&A/C system. They even installed a temporary unit so we didn't need to swelter in the summer heat. From Jodi to Scott to Buck to Nate to Mark and Scooter and the gang to Gabby they made my system more efficient and take up less space. It looks pretty, every detail was attended to, and they cleaned up every speck. My inside air is now crisp and cool. Thanks Mann\-In!

Our 18+ year old Carrier unit failed, requiring replacement parts and R\-22 refrigerant, which is no longer available. So off to researching new units. Mann\-In provided a quick and informative quote, laying out a number of options. We chose the Carrier Infinity Series Greenspeed heat pump (25VNA036), which turned out to be an excellent choice. Cooling during our heat wave has been great and the unit is so quite it can barely be heard at all. The crew was quick, respectively of our space and the need to provide extra precautions during the pandemic, and explained everything very well. Definitely recommend Mann\-In.

A great experience in replacing a 24 year old Carrier heat pump with a brand new one.

I have been using this dealer for decades. The reasons, honesty, integrity and knowledge.

A pleasure to work with knowledgeable and fair priced

I have been using this company for over 30 years and am grateful to have them on speed dial! They provide terrific service, are professional, reliable and responsive.

Mann\-In Inc has been my go to HVAC firm since I did some extensive comparison research some 12 years ago. Trevor and Dan did a fine job on this install, and our house was cool and comfortable again that evening.

Great company to deal with!

Been using them for years for both installations and annual maintenance checks. Service and installation work is excellent. Highly recommend.

Our old heat pump died in the midst of a historic heat wave, Mann\-in quickly acquired, and installed an new Heat Pump, working in the hottest part of the day Once installed, the house quickly cooled down with no issues.

Excellent service, plollite courteous professionals. I have used them for 20+ years Recommend highly

Mann\-In went above and beyond throughout the entire process. Recommend them very highly!

They did a good job and were respectful when coming into my home even during the pandemic. They wore masks while working and were fast workers. I have used them for 20 years and they're just as good now as they were then!

I can count on Mann\-In, usually on time, efficient an reliable, no mess after they leave.

The service was impeccable. He showed up on time, and installed the new system rapidly in a professional manner. Afterwards, he explained how to register the system online, download the phone app, and explained the operating features.

The install guys are knowledgeable and courteous.

Installers were meticulous, and the system is a huge improvement over what I had before.

Trevor and Mark are great. Thoroughly knowledgeable and nice. Answered all our questions. They did a neat job of installing the furnace and A/C.

Technician did a great job and was very helpful.

Mann\-In installed two Carrier Infinity gas furnaces and two Carrier Infinity A/Cs, converting from our old heat pumps to this new system. They did an outstanding job, installing the gas furnaces, humidifiers and air filters in a rather cramped laundry room. So far we can only comment on the new heating system (mid\-November) and the difference from our old system is remarkable: warmer house throughout, at a lower temperature, with perfect humidity.

Mann\-In has the goods. Knowledgeable sales staff and qualified HVAC installers and on\-site experts to ensure a proper install. They were the only HVAC company that I received a quote from that informed me my inlet duct was not large enough to realize the SEER ratings of the units I was interested in and showed me the calculations to prove it. They also have the best labor warranty in the business which is definitely indicative of the quality work they perform.

Great company. Very professional. Excellent work

From the initial estimate to the installation, everyone we worked with from Mann\-In was friendly, and knowledgeable. We are so glad we found them and have recommended them to others!! What a great experience!!

Great company filled with great people

Mann\-In responded quickly and efficiently. The staff was pleasant and worked very hard to get my AC operating again.

Every person I worked with at this company was knowledgeable, friendly, and anxious to be helpful

Excellent service.

Excellent service; knowledgeable, friendly and efficient team. Mark explained process prior to, during and after installation. Extremely satisfied Mann\-In Inc customer for over 10 years and highly recommend them.

I've used Mann\-In for several years both to maintain our systems and to compensate for problems arising from an astoundingly poor installation by another Carrier "Factory Authorized" dealer. These guys know what they're doing.

Fast installation by professional and friendly staff. Great service to explain the details of our new system. Highly recommend!

Mann\-In did a great job installing my AC system. They replaced the upstairs servicing furnace and outside unit that were original to the house construction (1993).

Fast, clean and friendly. Addressed all my concerns.

Roofing vendor failed to show on installation date and required an additional visit. Very frustrating when one is spending over $13k on a new system

Mann Inn helps us complete a full retrofit of a old boiler and new air handler. We turned all parts one direction for future service and cleaned up piping and return vents. The outdoor unit was moved and placed on a new pad. Full service took 2 days with gas change out and new boiler install. A work hard ask question style is in place with the staff and the two owners are checking behind their teams. A great change out occurred.

Very careful and professional

The sales rep did a great job explaining their products so I easily decided what to get. He even let me borrow a window unit until my heat pump was replaced. The installation repairmen were professional and paid attention to not making a mess. They also thoroughly explained how my new system works and what the monthly and yearly maintenance will be.

I want no other HVAC company working on my heating and cooling systems.

Sales team was great and easy to deal with. Whole process from start to finish was smooth.

Very good service and advise

From the sales expertise with Buck to the installation experience with Daniel and his crew, it has been a great experience.

Great company to work with

Mann\-In did a great job helping with the design and installation of my new HVAC system. I am the picky sort that pays attention to details. Mann\-In took care of my house and my HVAC in the best way possible.

Experienced sales person, right sizing of system, and efficient installation process.

Enjoyed the process and will plan to use them again in the future.

Incredible/Excellent/Best Thermostat

Outstanding service.

By far the best installation of a major appliance I have encountered in over 40 years of owning homes across the nation. The crew provided timely and complete instruction on using the new wireless thermostat system, including ensuring notifications by the system directly to the dealer. Highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking to buying a new Heat Pump system.

We replaced our old humidifier installed in 2005 with the same make and model yesterday. The old one always made allot of noise when the heat was on. The new humidifier is fantastic! Very, very quiet. We are very happy.

In all respects Buck, Mark, Nathan and the others who were involved in the installation of our furnace and water heater were great to work with and provided outstanding service.

Professional and knowledgeable personnel. We have been customers for many, many years. Always first time quality work. Dan has been great servicing our heating and cooling systems as well as arranging for our recent replacement of heating and cooling units. Mark and addl staff installed everything with no issues. Very friendly personal service!

Mann\-In does everything well!

The team from Mann\-In was great. They encountered some problems with a water heater valve when they installed the humidifier, but solved the issue quickly and without extra charge. They were professional and courteous.

We?ve come to trust Mann\-In over the 10+ years they?ve been our HVAC provider. The technicians are competent and friendly and do great work.

Mann\-in is very professional and customer service oriented. They are beyond helpful and provide recommendations and options s out heating and cooling. We had our Furnace replaced and it was a good experience, I highly recommend Mann\-In.

The crew were excellent; very professional and knowledgeable. They did a great job and left the areas perfectly clean as well. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

My installations went seamlessly. I knew they would. These people are professionals. There is great attention to detail. They know their product and I have absolute confidence in them. I had two complete hvac units installed and when they left my home, you would not even have known I was having work done, other than my new units.

I found Mann Inc with online research when I try to replace my both furnace. I found them through Carrier and then also yelp as well. They quote was competitive. Also their estimator Mr.Buck Bradley found out that my old furnace would qualify for $900 rebate from carrier as it is part of old legal settlement. Over all I had a positive experience with them. Their main installer Mark has been with company for 22 years. Owners also get involved and they care about their business. I would recommend them for your HVAC needs

Very clean, quick, and helpful. Gave me a full walk through of the equipment. The installation and workmanship was excellent. I wish I had more units to replace so I could use Mannin again!

Mann\-In installers did everything right. Arrived early, removed the older unit, wrapped and installed the new attic unit, cleaned up, and hand\-held me through the details of the install and the operation of the wireless thermostat and controller. Great experience. Strongly recommend this contractor.

Yes, highly recommended. Everyone was professional and even the owner was on top of it.

Diligent workers and knowledgeable

Great team. They were on time, a full crew and very professional. Highly recommend.

Great SERVICE

They were professional and fast. New unit is very quite and cooling.

We've used Mann\-In and Carrier for the last three homes we've owned.

Great service. Mechanics were all professional, curteious and kept the house clean and protected. I am a construction manager and very well versed on these type of installations.

Mann\-In serves as a testament to the Carrier product. Technicians are knowledgable, professional, and leave the job site spotless.

Excellent installation, arrived on time, took very good care of our home, clean installation area when they left. The worked like they were on their own homes. Wonderful experience.

Excellent service. Nice, friendly people. Thanks!

Very professional

scheduling was very easy. I liked the technician. I am going to sign up with you for routine maintenance.
