Installation was professional and tidy on the replacement of a 9-year old Infinity system. The new Infinity system is awful. It makes a loud humming noise that can be heard throughout our 3,200 sq ft house. This is way louder than the old Infinity, which you could barely tell was running. Also Carrier took weeks to troubleshoot why the newly installed Infinity Controller couldn’t communicate with Carrier’s own network. The installer tried in earnest to remedy the problems for us but couldn’t find a solution.

We received a great price for Performance level Carrier System. The install was in a challenging location with a humidifier install adding to the challenge do to the wall location. Installer was able to modify duct work to place the humidifier in a more convenient to access location. Only concern in the amount foil tape used to connect duct work to evaporator coil housing and to seal sides of humidifier. However, it seems to work. Will know more in winter when we need to run the humidifier with furnace.

A terrible installation that left my house in disarray and left me with a leaking unit. The only thing worse than the installation was the communication with the company. I now have a unit without an easy way to replace the filter and take consolation in only having to deal with the company when I need a tune up.
