It took several tries for them to get it right and I was still supposed to get a new thermostat I never received I will not recommend them to anyone intact I've told several neighbors to stay away

Royal Air has the competition beat, hand down. They offer great equipment with competitive pricing and outstanding service. Our sales tech was very knowledgeable and was able to recommend the proper unit to replace our 28 year old unit. If you have never had a two stage A/C before, I would highly recommend spending the money for it. They did not push to purchase a bunch of unnecessary extras, IE a computer system to run the unit, just offered a good programmable thermostat that is WiFi accessible. I love the ability to control both our units in my home from my cellular phone, even when I am away from home. You can not beat the deal and service that Royal Air will offer. They even started work on replacing my unit the same day!

The rep, Bruce, for Royal Air straight out lied to me and the home warranty company. I was told the warranty company had been contacted by Royal Air and they approved the unit and would be reimbursing me $2500 of the of the unit and installation cost. Four weeks later, when I contacted the warranty company, they not only said they hadn't been informed about a new unit but Royal Air said there was no malfunctions with the original unit. Royal air showed me an inspection report along with photos of the original unit. It showed the compressor was going out, low on freon, bearings going out in the unit in the attic, pan rusted out and the duct work had mold in it. I asked for a copy of the report and photos and was told they would send it to me when they got back to the office. I've asked SEVERAL times for that report with no response. I now know the reason they won't give the report and photos to me is then I would have proof for the warranty company that the old unit had issues. I believe having a company like Royal Air is a bad reflection on Carrier.

They made promises regarding how the AC would perform and promised more airflow that we are not receiving. The units work properly just the AC company promised one of our rooms would be colder and it is not. They also wouldn't show up at the scheduled times at all. We made appointments they never came to. And ordered parts that took forever to receive. Having spent a lot of money, I can see why the reviews on yelp are valid. The google reviews are all lies with promises of amazing customer service. They installed two units and new ducts on the first day. I scheduled with them to come out to finish the job after tenant moved out and we got the runaround from them. And since we paid upfront in cash, they didn't care to fix our issues since we didn't owe them anything. The owner (George) of the company is a scam and needs to learn how to run a company. The installers were great but they also agreed with our view on Royal Air. They also go by the name Houston Air Comfort and they are the same shady company. They are the worst companies I've ever dealt with. And the office staff isn't any better.

I had a leaking drip pan. The company American Home Shield first sent out did nothing but blow the lines out. They did not even drain the remaining water in the drip pan. Had them send out another company, Royal Air and they did a great job. We then went with the new system after looking at the old unit that had a lot more issues.

Replaced outdated HVAC and duct work.

Royal Air replaced my old Trane heater with a new Carrier model and my house is warm for the first time in years. They correctly diagnosed ALL the issues \- including a cracked heat exchanger which could have leaked deadly carbon monoxide. They worked with me and my home insurance company to offer a great price \- and the installation was first rate. I got bids from several companies \- but Royal Air was the best by far in terms of knowledge, correct diagnosis, and price. Very happy with their professionalism, responsiveness, and with the quality of their work from bid to installation. Thank you to the Comfort Advisors (Josh, Mark M), the installers (Luis, Bijardi) and the office (Natalie, Gloria). Well done!
