I have been a client of Roscoe Brown for many years. When it came time to replace one of my two HVAC units I trusted them. The maintenance technician ands I discussed replacing one of the units. He also mentioned the insulation in the attic was insufficient, but did not explain what he meant. I did not ask questions either so part of this is my responsibility. When the salesman came out, I assumed that he spoke to the maintenance technician regarding the insulation. The salesman and I agreed on a price, including evaluating/remedying the insulation issue in my attic. The installation team did a great job. It went smoothly. I have no complaints about the job that they did. One of those technicians also mentioned insulation deficiency in my attic. I thought that all three of these men were on the same page so when I asked the salesman to include the insulation in the price I thought that it would be taken care of. It was not. The lack of communication among Roscoe Brown employees and myself resulted in me being disappointed.

I have a service contract with Roscoe Brown. During the fall inspection, Nov 22, the tech found the heat exchanger in our 15 year old Carrier had several holes in it. because of the warm fall here in Tennessee we had not run the heat very much. I told the tech that I needed a quote on a similar unit. That afternoon, I received a quote which I felt was a good value for the product and service. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday and work load, the unit was installed on Nov 28. Without the service contract, I probably wouldn't have discovered the problem until the carbon monoxide detector had alarmed.
