Excellent installation workmanship! The installers returned for additional adjustments to the cold air ductwork, upon our request. Although the furnace seems to be running great, it is nowhere near as quiet as our old 1992 Luxaire.

This was a replacement unit for a corroded heat exchanger done under warranty. The crew of 2 from Gene's arrived on time and went right to work. There was a seasoned tech and an apprentice. Both respected our property by using booties and tarps in the house. The replacement went smoothly and was accomplished in a reasonable time. The new unit is working beautifully and we've noticed a significant improvement in energy use. The crew cleaned up after the job was done and thanked us for our business before leaving.

Great service

Our AC quit and Gene's was able to diagnose the problem, give us a solution to fix it. We ultimately chose to replace it because of the age of the unit. They had a consultant out within a day to discuss replacement options and were able to install a whole new unit within a week.

This company is very expensive. We were in need of a new HVAC system and it's the middle of summer. So, we purchased one of the most expensive systems they offer and we paid ALOT for it. I would recommend getting quotes before signing anything. That was our fault!

Everything about Gene's was great from beginning to end. Very professional and knowledgeable when giving the estimate and how the process works. Installataion was quick and done by 2 guys who were great to deal with. I was surprised at how fast they were able to get out equipment and have it installed. Loving how comfortable my home feels now.

Had an air conditioner unit replaced and a furnace replaced (on two separate systems). Both of the installers from Gene's Refrigeration Heating \& Air Conditioning encountered problems and both handled these problems professionally, with superior workmanship and without complaint \- saving me the worry! I know that Carrier produces high\-quality, reliable HVAC systems and this was a worthy investment for my home.

They have always been professional

I been dealing with Gene's Refrigeration since 2008, been very happy with their service. They are good people. Friendly, and chip shortage, they still manage to get my ac replaced. Well done. I am also very happy with my Carrier Infinity system.

I had a new furnace and heat pump installed on Dec. 20. That same evening, my furnace stopped working. A service technician came out and he told me that the installers mis\-wired a particular component causing a fuse to blow. Today (Jan. 11) I woke up to a no heat situation. I noticed that my thermostat was unpowered. A different service technician came out and said that a different fuse had blown, due to another wiring error. Right now, I have very low confidence in this installation.

They were very courteous of our property and speaking to us. They were quick and efficient with replacing our unit. Cleaned up very well. Explained in details how the new unit worked and how to simple maintenance(filter replacement and such). Prices were reasonable compared to others. I would highly recommend Gene's Refrigeration for HVAC \& plumbing needs.

We received exceptional service, especially calling on a Sunday morning. They were here quickly for the service call and then only 2 days later to install with friendly, professional technicians who did an excellent job.

I have relied on Gene's Refrigeration for my heating and cooling needs for the past 15 years. They consistently provide quality work, detail\-oriented technicians and reliable products.

The furnace equipment is excellent. The installer connected it up to an existing chimney duct that was completely clogged. A chimney sweep, hired after install, said there was no airflow out the chimney and installed a dedicated liner/duct for the furnace and hot water tank exausts.

Installation of entire system went smoothly and efficiently and in the amount of time we were originally told it would take. They were accommodating to us as far as installing the system on a specific day of our choice. The gentleman who showed us the systems initially was friendly and informative. Only one small complaint about the whole process: One of the installers was smoking next to an open window. He may have assumed it wasn't a problem because he was outside, however, a few of our family members are extremely allergic to cigarette smoke and it was coming straight into the house. Common sense (if not training by employer) should dictate workmen not smoke near someone's residence. On the positive side, as soon as we asked them not to smoke near the house it did not happen again.

Customer for years, no question who I would purchase my needed new HVAC system from. They recommend Carrier, no need to look at other brands.

Everyone that we dealt with at Gene's was extremely helpful and thorough in the information and options for us to replace a non\-working humidifier on the heating system in our home. We're pleased with what we selected, the improvement in the air quality in our home and the professionalism of everyone we worked with at Gene's.

I can't say enough good about Gene's. Everything went great, the installation was exactly when they said it would be. I had an issue with payment due to miscommunication between my wife and I. Expert Service and recommendation on new unit purchased.

We have used Gene's for our heating and cooling services for years. When we needed a new water heater, the installation was seemless and quality was great. When we need service, they are always prompt, professional, and affordable. When it came to replacing our furnace and AC, it was a no brainer. The new infinity system is awesome and love the control unit and remote access from my phone. Still need to get the AC cover for the winter that was included, but overall, very happy.

We had new furnace and air conditioning unit installed. The men were very efficient in completing the installation, removing the old units, and explaining the new operating procedures.

Well informed

was a two day install. Old unit was removed and new installed with no issues. I could not have asked for a better job than what these guys did....

They accommodated a rush request and performed the installation quickly and efficiently. The unit is performing flawlessly

The pad the a.c. condenser sits on is from the unit that was replaced. It is too big for the new unit which causes water to puddle under the condenser. My salesman said he ordered a smaller pad about a month ago it still has not been replaced. We also purchased a 3 year protection plan which I have requested a copy of and still do not have . I have called and left messages regarding my concerns.

The install crew did a very professional looking job of installing my new Carrier heating and cooling system. They showed up on time but did not bother to introduce themselves or talk with me at all upon their arrival. After several hours, I went down to see how they were doing and I had to work to break the ice and get them to converse with me. Soon they were chatting and answering my questions but they never really offered any information without my first making an inquiry. Later, when they were finished, they came upstairs and gave me a tutorial on the new control device and how to make adjustments. They presented the paperwork and got my signature and we had a conversation for about 10 or 15 minutes and then they left. They never really gave me a summary of what was installed or any kind of a status so I assumed that everything was done. This was in the late afternoon on Friday. Over the weekend, I looked through the paperwork and found that I was supposed to get some kind of a surge suppressor and a cover for the outside cooling equipment. I looked around for the cover and found none. I called the office Monday to find out about them and talked to a cordial woman there that did not have any answers for me. She said she would look into it and call me back. A short time later she did call back and told me that another woman was going to find out what happened and sure enough she called me several hours later. The surge unit was not installed as it was not available for the install but it was now available and she arranged a time for the techs to come out and install it and do a more thorough explanation of the control device and how to operate it. The cover is on back order and it would probably be several more weeks before they would be able to get it to me. The techs came out the next day and installed the suppressor and gave me a much more thorough explanation of the control unit. I was able to connect it to my wi\-fi and later I downloaded the app to my i\-phone and was able to use that to view the settings. I spent over 25 years working as a service rep for Xerox and had a lot of training and experience in dealing with customers. It is very important to be cordial and friendly to customers and keep them informed of what you are going to do for them, what you have done for them, keeping them informed of the status of your work and whether parts have to be ordered and some time frames as to when they will arrive and when you will be back to install them. You can do a fine job of repairing or installing equipment but if you are not able to deal with customers, you will NOT be successful in you business. The install crew basically ignored me. They never said hello or introduced themselves. They never gave me an idea of what they were going to do or when they would be done. It was almost as if I was not even there. They are either very shy or indifferent around customers and that will not sit well with most people. Someone needs to step up and speak with the customers and let them know what to expect and ask the customer if there is anything they can do for them and make the customer feel good about doing business with them. Josh, the tech who sold me on the new system has some very good customer skills and I like dealing with him very much. He is straight forward and up front and very cordial in conversation. I decided to buy this system because I liked him and I felt I could trust him. He was able to clearly explain the various options he was proposing and made a recommendation for the system I purchased. He should be considered a real asset to this business.

great product would not have nothing but carrier in my house.

We have nothing but good things to say about the removal and install of our furnace. The old furnace was very old and very big and we were a little worried getting it out without damaging anything, but the guys did an excellent job.
