I had to replace the furnace due to water in the basement, so replaced the old A/C as well. Green was the second dealer I called, gave me the best price on what I wanted and didn't try to do a hard sell for a more expensive unit I didn't need.

The furnace installation went well. But I have a problem with condensation on the Flue pipe. Green Home and Heating came up with a lot of reasons at first including a roof leak and possible water seeping in from the basement floor. But the reason is condensation in the flue. Green Home and Heating says the only remedy is a inner liner for the flue. I asked about adjustments in the furnace they said there is no adjustments to be made. With all the experience that Green Home and Heating has in installing furnaces in older homes why didn't they know that with the type of flue that I have that there maybe condensation?

I am a maintenance repair worker and very particular about mechanical systems. Green Home Heating and Cooling was very reasonably priced. Hector worked with me around construction contractors and Cory and Ian were the absolute best. A very clean, professional installation and took time to talk through some options. They left the work area cleaner than when they got there. I will definitely keep them in mind for the future and highly recommend them.
