I had service done and it took 3 weeks longer than quoted. I had put down money long before an anticipated heat wave, and our evaporative cooler worked still. Horizon guys uninstalled the cooler and the house was without air for three weeks. The company and the electricians kept going back and forth about who had to do what job. After the first rainstorm the removal of the cooler proved to be a poor one, as water leaked from their sealing job and destroyed parts of my attic and into the ceiling drywall in two separate rooms. As for cleanup, the recommended electricians and the HVAC workers left immense amounts of trash for me to clean up after their job, including a busted garden hose. With every new part, the cooling unit, the pad beneath the cooler, the thermostat, the hallway vent were all installed crooked/not level and rushed.

Had plans of s good system to be installed... only to have the company do a half way job then not complete the task. Had $ for a complete install. I was told "unlovable, would be impossible, band\-aid over a band\-aid patch work on ducts, minor damages to recently purchased home and yet was told "my guys wouldn't do that." Went with this company due to Google comments on a good company... wouldn't recommend it. Boss even said I was the one "nagging" a professional leveled boss to speak of a customer like that?.. your call if you want this company in your house.

Horizon replaced my seventeen year old rooftop combined gas furnace/central air unit. Silvano was prompt and thorough in his estimate. The new unit arrived within a week of down payment, and was installed a few days later. The crew (Dwight, Larry \& Joe) were very courteous, professional and efficient \- and were actually fun to interact with on installation day. The entire removal and installation took only seven hours and there was nothing for me to clean up afterwards. The new unit (and its amazing thermostat) are functioning perfectly, and are much more powerful than the old unit ever was. I will drop an addition to this review once I see the effect on my utility bills \- I believe there will be a dramatic drop, which I can't wait to see. I would recommend this firm and crew to anyone needing similar services.
