Furnace Repair & Service

I was very impressed initially- communication was great. Then installation started and it went downhill fast from there. Leaving holes to the exterior of my home unsealed and no communication regarding that, 2 weeks went by with snow and rain. They billed me in full before the a/c unit was even hooked up and the vent work was not completed. They charged me for a permit that was not pulled until after installation was well in progress and I asked if all the permit stuff was finalized. They said they were finished but had never hooked the a/c unit up to my themostat. I hooked wire up to get the a/c unit running and blew a 5.00 fuse for the furnace and then charged me 95.00 emergency service fee to put a new fuse in. They also charged me for a new thermostat that they never gave me or installed. I had to call them back after I looked at the invoice again (all the issues and arguments about the a/c not being hooked up to the thermotat- meaning they never checked to see if the unit worked before saying the job was done). They simply mailed me a check for what they said the new thermostat would have been worth. They never compensated or apologized for not hooking the a/c to the thermostat that caused more issues and the emergency service fee. When I requested a meeting with the owner he was too busy out on jobs. The office manager just wanted to tell me how they were the best of the best x number of years in a row and how they gave me just a great deal for Al the work they did at my house. And how they were just a small business trying to survive. (Tell me more lady on vacation out of country multiple times a year and husband owner flaunting that they needed a bigger cabin cruiser boat and a new cottage. I will never use this company for service or warranty work in the future. As far as the carrier equipment I have not had any issues and it’s been a year. How I heard of this dealer isn’t on your options. I was on a mission trip with this owner and his main installer guy and thought I wanted to support small business and like minded people(mission trips). But they proved to be very different business people and lacked communication as soon as they were contracted for the job. I had to push them every step of the way to get the job completed. Oh and they failed the first installation inspection too.

I was a millwright for over 20 years of my life, I would be proud of the work the technicians did in my home!

Lawrence Heating and Cooling has been amazing, we had them replace our ac unit a few years back and they were the first people we called when we needed our furnace replaced this week. Highly recommended! They are professional, caring and helpful!
