Fast service. If they can't fix your issue immediately, they will troubleshoot and give you advice over the phone. They offered to bring space heaters to my home. Their HVAC replacement estimate was $1,900 less than one of their competitors. They enjoy what they do and care about their customers. It comes shining through in everything they do.

MD Heating \& Cooling are no\-nonsense, honest, and thorough. They arrived on time and did the complete install, also replacing the kill switch box and thermostat, within 5\-1/2 hrs. They cleaned up and hauled all the old junk away. Debbie gave me pointers for care of the inside unit and showed me how to program the thermostat. They are professional and they do it right! I have used them for repair (old unit), and will continue to use them for maintenance of the new unit.

I am an engineer and I know everything about air conditioning. I could do the installation myself, but I do not have a permit to work with some freons, so I had to call a HVAC company to replace an old 2.5 ton heat pump system (that used R\-22) with a new 2.5 ton heat pump system (that uses R\-410A). I contacted 13 companies that work in my area. 9 of them told me that they are very busy and do not take new orders. 4 companies sent an estimator and gave me their proposals. Three of the four proposals included items that were not necessary, which is what pushed the prices way up. When two people from Maryland Heating and Cooling (Debbie and Ron) showed up they started to discuss with each other (in my presence) which items I do not need to replace, which would save me money. In the end they decided that none of the existing duct work needs to be modified and that the old copper lines are in good shape and can be re\-used. In the end they came up with the lowest price, significantly lower than the three other offers. Furthermore, they were able to do the installation on the second day after I signed the contract and paid the deposit. I was watching them while they did the work, and I am confident that they did everything right, because I understand exactly what they were doing and why. In other words, they did not cut any corners. I can recommend this company.
