Sales process was a bit uneven, but the installation and service were outstanding.

There was a problem with our new system's installation which was CARRIER's fault and not Coastal. Apparently the YOU/manufacturer changed the wiring for the unit but FAILED to change the diagram and we were without AC for two days until the installers were able to figure out what was wrong. VERY INCONVENIENT for us but it was not a fault of Coastal.

Twenty\-two years ago Costal replaced my old heat pump with a Carrier unit. I accepted all of their recommendations and had great service. Over the years there were a few service calls for minor problems but Coastal was always able to promptly correct the problems. This 22 year old Carrier was still running fine but it's age was a concern to me so I purchased a new Carrier unit again following all the recommendations made to me. Because of my experiences with Coastal I did not even consider approaching a different dealer for the new unit. The old unit was good but the new one shows that there have been many improvements during the past two decades. Setting up my preferences via the computer app proved to be straightforward and no problems were experienced.

Installed equipment quickly. Taught me how to use it. Very friendly and professional. Will definitely continue to use for my HVAC needs.

The installers worked very hard to fit the inside unit in a small space, which required substantial reconfiguration of the air filter setup. There was a minor problem with the support of the outside unit which the installers resolved immediately when I pointed it out. The unit is working great so far.

I had a challenging job to do and benefited from excellent sales and technical advice. I want to especially commend Omar and Justin, who worked hard and long (under Bob's supervision) to get the job done and to meet inspection requirements.
