From the first meeting through the install process Reidy Heating and Cooling was professional and knowledgeable of the product offered for our home. They were extremely helpful with advising on mass save rebates. The install crew were professional, hard working and left the work site in clean condition. Reidy offered the best price and no gimmicks or add one. Straight forward approach and in these times it was a pleasure to do business with Reidy.

This was a planned replacement of existing equipment that was still functional, but clearly near the end of it's life expectancy. We had a great experience with Reidy from the very beginning. Our salesperson was very knowledgeable, took measurements of the house, and made a practical recommendation. We got 2 other quotes. One was clearly smoke and mirrors with a "big sale, limited time" that involved a more expensive brand with much more capacity than we need, and that wasn't really very much of a sale once I dug into expected prices for my area. The other was a company not as local to us, very focused on heat pumps and mini splits, and while I'm all for going green whenever possible, it just did not seem practical for our current configuration. Reidy is a small, local company and we felt very well attended to throughout the whole process. We were given a reasonable quote for a highly rated brand of equipment and not sold anything that wasn't needed. We were told exactly what to expect regarding the installation process including time to order the equipment and schedule the installation, how long to expect the installation to take, payment options, etc. Basically, there were no surprises. The installation crew was clearly knowledgeable and capable, and everything went smoothly. Our equipment is running great so far (it's only been a few months), and we are pleased with both our choice of equipment and installer.

Reidy did a great job putting in a new furnace and AC in 2015. Since I have an older cape and are using the existing heating duct work, it was very difficult to cool the second floor. Reidy installed a split system for my second floor and all units work great because of the installation by Reidy.

Once installation began, it went smoothly with knowledgeable technicians and good customer service. Operation of system was communicated in a competent and friendly manner.

We were very pleased with the professionalism and expertise of Reidy Heating and Cooling personnel. The installation went off without any issues and was completed in just a few days. We have had no issues with the furnace/heat pump but had to get instructions on the Carrier mini\-split because of the poor instruction manual that came with the units. Reidy sent out a Technician that spent the needed time explaining the poor instruction manual. There have been no other problems/issues with all the installed units with one exception \- we had the electrical power go off and then on about 3 times within seconds (this is common where we live). When the furnace/heat pump came back, the sensors (all 3) were not showing the correct temperature and were fixed. The heat pump continued to work until the heat was over 75 degrees F and not the 69 degrees F showing on the sensors. I could NOT find anyway to shut off the heat pump via the main sensor unit and had to resort to pulling the circuit breakers for the furnace/heat pump in my electrical panel. I restored power to the furnace/heat pump and everything came back to normal. I am worried that if this event happened while we were away, say on vacation, would the units continue to generate heat without any sensor inputs. I believe this is a major problem/fault that Carrier should correct or show me how it can be avoided. Arthur Lawrence
