The tech was great, prompt and efficient. I received the text notification that he was on his way with plenty of time to arrive. My reason for 4vs 5 stars is not being told when I booked the appointment that credit cards would carry a 4% fee. I didn't bring my checkbook and was forced to pay with the card. I think this should be stated when booking so people can be prepared.

I highly recommend Hometown Heating and Air. They replaced my 17 year old 5 ton AC and furnace with the Carrier Infinity 5 Stage 5 ton system. Along with the compressor, evaporator and furnace I had them remove the old duct board distributor box and replace it with a metal wyes distribution layout to hopefully improve air for to my master bedroom which was the furthest away from the system. The results are better than I had hoped. We now have a cooler bedroom and constant air temperature throughout the house. The compressor is outside my home office window and it runs so quietly I can't ever tell if it is running or not. My experience working with Hometown from the beginning to the end was excellent. We had four companies provided us quotes. Hometown was the best system for the best price and Lee, the Hometown sales representative, was top notch. I had several questions over a few weeks follow his quote and changes to what we wanted. He was supper to work with and was here on the day they installed the system to make sure it went smoothly, which it did. The installation crew were nice and keep the house clean with drop cloths over the carpet and stairs. I could not have been happier with the entire process.

Lee arrived on time for the quote, he was professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. He offered a competitive price and patient throughout the whole process. He was quick to respond with any answers to the questions I had about the company, products and services offered. The installation went just as smooth. The installation crew arrived on time, installed the new HVAC system and cleaned up after they completed the install as if they had not been here. I'm extremely happy choosing Hometown Heating \& Air from the handful of companies that gave me quotes. I will most definitely recommend them to anyone needing HVAC services. I'm switching my annual maintenance HVAC service over to Hometown Heating \& Air. I plan to get my second HVAC until replaced next year and Hometown Heating \& Air will be the company to do it.

After my 21\-year Carrier system stopped working and was looking authorized dealer for purchase a same brand\-new system for replacement. I found the Hometown dealer in my area and within a day I meet the technician and made a list of suggested equipment would be a good replacement. Same day I received a proposal with 3 option and listing each feature of the system. Calling customer service with my decision was able to set an installation day. Old system promptly removed and end of the day the new system has operated. The proposal pricing was attractive, the workmanship is a quality installation including the product line and the customer service is superb because customer oriented. The warranty registration including paperwork handled by customer service and it makes this company very professional.

Custom service is the best in the industry. The technicians are extremely knowledgeable and the owner is great with communication.

The technician saw the system was not working correct so therefore he let the homeowner\- occupant know then mention the correct function to make it be correct. The repair was not costly.

Work on putting in two new units was excellent. Working with company was excellent. Small complaint is that work on getting old unit out was not as careful as I would expect. Scratched wood floor in process. Assistants need to pay a little more attention to equip removal.

They were able to quickly troubleshoot the issue I had, and work with my own sleep hours ( I work nights) and provide me an accurate and full estimate on a new HVAC unit. I am thankful for how easy it was to work with them and their phone calls lead direct to an actual human.

I would have given hometown 5 stars, but the technicians did not fully clean up in the basement. Insulation was left on the ground as so was screws, staples, and sheet\-rock dust. The technicians were very friendly, but again just wished they did a better job with clean up. Overall, I am very happy with my new Heat Pump/AC unit. Cools the basement very well and is also keeping the humidity lower as well.
