Air Conditioner Installation

PV Heating and Air Conditioning installed a new HVAC in my house. the house is from 1950 and doesn't have the best insulation. The unit is in the attic and the access is difficult. PV sold me a new system quieter, more efficient and that will help with controlling humidity in the house. It is quieter and helps with humidity but is expensive to run an uncomfortable. and PV hasn't provided any solution The serial numbers I see on the new HVAC installed by PV Heating and Air Conditioning are not the ones mentioned above. I have SN: 540K846660639040160006 and 5404545050237270150151. The thermostat is an Ecobee. The new system is using more electricity than my old one that had been installed in 2010.eventough winter 2025 was less cold than02024. Now, - June 2025 in Atlanta, there are burst of cold air in the evening when the outside temperature goes down. Is there any company / service that could provides a diagnostic ?

After considering replacement for my 28\-year\-old system I came across PV Heating and Air. I first found out about them from a Blog that one of the owners had posted regarding the pros and cons of a variable speed system. What I appreciated about the article is that it indicated that in some circumstances variable speed may not be the answer. I appreciate this because my impression is that the owner cared more about the customer than just selling the most advanced product. I very much enjoyed working with the sales rep James Hagelthorn primarily because he had an extensive service background and was able to explain how the systems work and what benefits I could anticipate. Along with James, all of the installing techs and admin folks that I have come in contact with at PV have been professional and performed their tasks admirably. I would highly recommend PV to anyone who is interested in a heating or cooling system. So far the system is working great and I'm very pleased even though I had always anticipated going with a Trane product I became convinced that Carrier could offer even more benefits.

We were very impressed by PV. Cory thoroughly assessed our old HVAC system and provided a well thought\-out plan for replacing it. He patiently explained the different options and reviewed his recommendations. There was no pressure to make a quick decision; in fact he encouraged us to take the weekend to think about it. After we decided to proceed, an installation date was set for just days later. After a separate load assessment visit, the installation team expertly installed the new system. They were respectful of our property and went out of their way to clean up and remove all debris/old hardware. By the end of the day, we had a new system working beautifully and no sign of the recent installation. The PV team proved to be responsive, thorough, and honest. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

The experience level of the salesperson (James) was the reason I left a company that I had used for 18 years.
