The 2 gentlemen were very knowledgeable and efficient.

Every employee was very polite and professional. Our installer, Tyron, was so professional, worked quickly, and it was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing. There couldn't be anybody better at his job than him. Very Pleased and relieved we called Air Hawk for our AC replacement.

With only one young man on the job he may have been too tired to make us the new plenum and air intake box we were expecting. The company said new plenum and intake only if they deem needed. I am concerned about old fiberglass insulation (duct board?) coming loose and circulating through the house. The ac stopped working an hour after install because the breaker that was suppose to be replaced had not been. The serviceman came back a couple hours later with a temp breaker and replaced a few days later. His quality of work putting in the unit was good. He said he wasn't going to put in hurricane pad either. I asked for it because we live on the florida coast and it was in the contract. After he put it down is when i found out he came alone.

I was appreciative that they were able to install the new system in just a half day. However they didn't have the correct part for the heat strip, so I have to set up a second appointment to get that taken care of. Installers did not clean up adequately around the new air handler. The plate cover for the air filter seems cheap and clumsy to put back on. The temperature registered on our new thermostat seems to be around 3 degrees lower than what the old thermostat was registering, so we had to adjust by setting our thermostat to a lower level than we are used to. Is that intentional?
