The Toshiba Carrier VRF system is a combination of an outdoor unit with multiple style indoor units connected by refrigerant piping and wiring. The Single-phase VRF heat recovery outdoor unit is a single module with the twinning capability up to 12 tons to achieve greater capacity.
The Toshiba Carrier® MMYF‑1P single‑phase VRF outdoor unit is designed to deliver reliable heat recovery performance for light commercial and specialized applications where single‑phase power is required. This compact system supports capacities from 6 to 12 tons using a single module or twinned configuration, providing flexibility for a wide range of building layouts and project requirements.
Designed for dependable performance, the MMYF‑1P complies with NEC wiring requirements, is constructed to ETL standards, and meets AHRI 1230 performance criteria. Inverter‑driven components, a finned tube heat exchanger, and compatibility with R‑410A refrigerant support long‑term system reliability.
Multiple indoor unit connection options—including Y‑branch joints, branch headers, and flow selector boxes—provide layout flexibility for a variety of applications. Factory‑provided controls, individual power connections, and factory twinning kits help simplify installation and system configuration.
