The Carrier® 40VMR VRF Floor Console – Recessed indoor unit is designed for concealed installation inside a wall or custom-built cabinet to complement interior space design. With capacities ranging from 7,000 to 24,000 Btuh, the 40VMR delivers flexible comfort for VRF systems while maintaining a complete hideaway appearance. It features a DC fan motor with multiple fan speeds, handles up to 0.15 in. of external static pressure, and is compatible with Carrier VRF heat pump and heat recovery outdoor units and controls.
Built to meet NEC wiring and ETL construction requirements, the unit incorporates durable components such as a DC fan motor and finned tube heat exchanger. It is designed for use with R‑410A refrigerant to support reliable VRF system operation.
Standard control quick connects help streamline installation, while all settings can be configured through the remote controller. An integrated IR receiver comes standard, reducing the need for additional accessories.
