The i‑Vu® MQTT Connector Add‑On enables building automation system data to be securely published to MQTT brokers for use in cloud and enterprise platforms. It formats data to the Sparkplug B standard and enriches it with semantic context, making BAS information easier to integrate, interpret, and use beyond facilities operations.
Published data is automatically enriched with Project Haystack semantic tags, providing clarity around equipment, location, units, and point characteristics. This added context helps downstream systems and stakeholders understand and act on BAS data without custom mapping or interpretation.
The connector is designed for enterprise use, supporting modern authentication methods and encrypted communication. Compatibility with major MQTT brokers and cloud infrastructures allows organizations to scale data integration while maintaining security and reliability.
