Friendly & Diligent and Energy Service Techs Comes Out Immediately
Energy Services originally came out in June, 2024. We had a problem with our A/C. The servicer reduced the Puron level, replaced the capacitor. Along with the diagnostic we paid $412. Two days later the same problem. At that point, E.S. suggested we needed to replace our entire HVAC System that was only five years old. They suggested the current furnace was too big. At a cost of 16,500, a new Carrier Furnace was installed along with an air conditioner/heat pump. All was fine until we turned on the furnace for heat 3 plus months later. We began receiving email alerts 33-11Limit Fault suggesting that our furnace wasn't receiving proper air flow and that we needed to change our 3 1/2 month old air filter ($75). We did so but the next day we received the same alerts. Another servicer from E.S. came out an suggested we turn off our humidifier. We did and generally the situation improved as far as only receiving one alert over the next two months. At that point, we needed the five year old humidifier turned back on but were told to replace it with a new external model that wouldn't draw air from the furnace. We did have the humidifier replaced at a cost of $795.00. Almost $18,000 later, we think the system is working though we did receive another alert when we turned up the thermostat to 72 degrees in early February. It appeared the furnace couldn't handle it. We've dealt with eight different service men from E.S.. They all have been nice but it has taken a while to "kind of" had issues figured out. Along the way, it has been more expensive than I would have guessed. I'm not sure if it's today's technology, but HVAC work seems far more complicated than years past.

One of my tenants notified me on late Thursday that her furnace was not working and the temperature in her apartment was at 60 degrees and dropping. Even though only one installer was sent to remove my old furnace and install the new furnace everything went well. I think they should have two installers to do this type of work. One person could easily hurt themselves lifting the furnace off the air conditioner box. We seem to have installation problems after each carrier product installation. While they are very good about correcting it, it is a bit frustrating that this happens frequently. We get regular maintenance \& always call when we receive system warning through the wifi connections. The furnace was installed in a way that the first time we went to use it, it would not work. The air conditioner was inspected and within a week having major faults, which I was told to ignore by office \- it broke on a very hot humid weekend ! Just had a new humidifier installed \& the water valve they installed failed and we had water overwhelming the drain pipes , running all over the basement. So wile all these issues were warranted \& corrected, we purchased new, top of the line carrier products because we believed we wouldn't be dealing with issues like this.

Just had the 59MN7A120V24\-\-22 furnace and 24ACC660A003 AC unit installed a few weeks ago. Mighty fine units! The furnace performs well. We keep the fan on low to circulate the air throughout the house and this seems to help regulate the temperature better. The AC doesn't turn on as much with the fan on low. The AC unit is pretty quiet. Surprised at how big it was compared to the old one it replaced! Overall very please with the products and the crew that came to install them.

Long Time Customer Very Satisfied with New AC Purchase and Installation
The old AC finally failed with near complete loss of coolant after over 20 years. Energy Services proposed and installed a new Carrier AC, with current generation refrigerant. Both Keith and Scott of Energy Services were very knowledgeable and professional. While buying a new furnace or air conditioner is quite expensive, it comes with home ownership and maintenance. New Furnace Installation
We had to replace a 13 year old Carrier furnace because of the premature failure of the heat exchanger that required Energy Services to take our furnace out of service. Energy Services worked with us to get a quick replacement to meet our schedule and at a good price. We will also receive a rebate from Carrier for the heat exchanger failure. Jeff, the installer for Energy Services, was very professional and did a terrific job installing our new furnace. We have used Energy Services for 13 years for the maintenance of our furnace and air conditioner and we have them come each year at the start of the heating and the start of the cooling seasons. They are very knowledgeable and do a great job.
