New Carrier Depot in Central Florida to Support Emergency Cooling and Power Needs for Businesses Across Region

Carrier has officially opened a new 12,000 square-foot rentals depot in Central Florida as part of an ongoing investment in support of commercial businesses and government agencies responding to short-term needs and disaster response. The new facility includes three acres of storage, featuring generators, chillers and other large pieces of equipment that can be deployed within hours. Carrier is a part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions. 

In recent years, Carrier has invested tens of millions of dollars into its nationwide network of rentals depot, upgrading facilities and purchasing new equipment to better support new construction projects, planned shutdowns, equipment failures and special events. The depot is also positioned to respond following a hurricane or other natural disaster.

The Florida Depot, one of 13 locations spread across the United States, near Bartow, Florida, is strategically located between Interstates 75 and 95 to further support quick delivery of equipment across the southeastern United States and the Caribbean. 

Depots stock both Carrier and partner equipment, including air- and water-cooled chillers, generators, cooling towers, air handlers, boilers, heaters and more. The Florida depot supports numerous businesses in the southeast, including theme parks and resorts, airports, schools, retailers, data centers and manufacturing and agricultural facilities.
