The expense comfort series didn’t make it half as long as the old Trane. Paid 8k for the comfort one. This is a basic one for 11k. Doesn’t do anything but blow ac. It’s horribly humid where I live but I refuse to dole out 18k to replace the comfort exploder series one we replaced. If it wasn’t a heat wave over 100 degrees daily for over a week and my spouse having emphysema we would not have bought another carrier. If they’re just going last 10-12 years, blow up, throw insulation all over the yard, vent all the Freon out and scare my Iraq vet neighbor they really aren’t worth the money
