So far so good, It keeps my band room at a perfect 72 year round with no adjustments needed. Even during days with high humidity and constant rain, it stays very comfortable in the room. I have a significant investment in exceptional music instruments that are vulnerable to changes in humidity and temperature. Since this unit has been employed, my need to make adjustments or repairs to these instruments has been eliminated. I trust this unit to maintain the value of my musical equipment.

Every time you turn on the unit the default is the LED temp indicator turns on and stays lit. At night I have to manually shut off the light, sometimes getting out of bed. It would be nice to have the unit "remember" the setting and only show the temp for a few seconds.

The only thing that I didn’t like about this unit is that it needs a surge protector. Within six months it blew both computer boards. It was still under warranty but I had to pay about $400 for a surge protector for it. Otherwise I love the unit.

1. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
