I can recommend DT Air Conditioning wholeheartedly. Dana and his team did an amazing and quick (single day) job of swapping out my old 2 ton and 4 ton ACs, furnaces and some additional duct work. His price was the best I encountered by far, which honestly gave me pause, but fear not... you are in good hands. DT is a member of Oncor Efficiency Incentive program which provides incentives to encourage upgrading to higher efficiency units \- a portion of this rebate gets passed onto you which helps with the price (along with Carrier rebates). The installation job looks fantastic including support bars, no just straps to insure the furnaces do not sag over time. As the electronic variable speed motors on these new units are expensive to replace in the event of a power surge, I would recommend surge suppressors on inside and outside units. They are cheap and provide a little peace of mind since surges are not covered by manufacturer warranties.

DT Air Conditioning, did the installation: October 2017 Our 18 year old,AC unit was leaking Freon, getting slowly worse, the went completely empty. Due to the age and cost to repair, we decided to replace the unit, which had included a Bryant gas furnace. We had worked with DT air conditioning in the past, and they had previously earned our trust. There are several different models to choose from, efficiency, cost, and rebates from carrier and our electric company Oncor. We chose the better unit. Although the cost is higher, there are two different rebates which bring it back down. We didnt have the money up front, but after some negotiation, got 0% financing for 6 mo. The variable speed compressor has a very high efficiency rating. But what you will notice, is the blower fan in the house, is also variable speed, and is very quiet. You dont hear it turn, like with the other on/off blower motors. Very nice. The thermostat control is also, modern, with many features. Different settings for time of day, day of week, auto etc. The work crew quickly installed the unit, and it was setup and working perfectly that afternoon.
