On Girls’ Day, Carrier Presents Mechatronics Technician for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Event

KORNTAL-MÜNCHINGEN/SCHWAIGERN, Germany -

Carrier Klimatechnik GmbH (Carrier Germany) invites you to Girls' Day on April 25, 2024. The company is offering a training for school-aged female students to learn about what it takes to become a mechatronics technician for air conditioning and refrigeration technology at two locations in Southwest Germany. Carrier is a part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE:CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.

"Our goal is to introduce female students to training as mechatronics engineers for air conditioning and refrigeration technology. They will learn about a versatile, exciting and future-proof profession with a direct link to climate and environmental sustainability," said Linda Strohmer, Service Manager Region Southwest, Carrier Klimatechnik. The company offers training as a mechatronics technician for air conditioning and refrigeration technology at several locations throughout Germany.

After a brief introduction to the company and details of the training program, participants will have an opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the various air conditioning, heating, ventilation and cooling units. After a lunch break, participants will shadow Carrier technicians in their work and create a souvenir of Girls' Day.

The detailed program for the branch in Korntal-Münchingen and the depot in Schwaigern is available on the Girls' Day website under "Carrier Klimatechnik", and applications will close on April 11, 2024.

"Our hope is that we can get participants interested in this cool profession while also showing them the opportunities that training with an international market leader opens up," said Strohmer.
