Carrier Transicold to Present Electrified and Fuel-Efficient Refrigeration Solutions at Transpotec Logitec 2026
Milan, Italy -
Carrier Transicold will present a range of electric, semi-electric and high-efficiency transport refrigeration solutions designed to help customers improve efficiency and meet evolving requirements for temperature-controlled transport at Transpotec Logitec 2026 in Milan, Italy. Carrier Transicold is part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.
“Transpotec Logitec is a key meeting point for the Italian transportation and logistics sector,” said Luca Bellini, Managing Director, Carrier Transicold Italy. “Carrier Transicold will showcase refrigeration technologies designed to help fleets improve fuel efficiency, support electrification strategies and enhance operational visibility to help drive more efficient refrigerated transport operations.”
Electric and Energy-Efficient Refrigeration Solutions
Carrier Transicold will showcase electric refrigeration and power solutions designed to support customers’ electrification strategies by improving energy efficiency and reduce diesel consumption, while maintaining reliable refrigeration performance.
A key feature on the booth will be eCool-Drive, a power converter for electric tractor units that transforms high-voltage direct current from the tractor’s battery into alternating current for refrigeration units. Designed to help electrify existing diesel refrigeration units, the technology enables compatible refrigerated semi-trailers, subject to configuration, to connect with fully electric tractor units.
Carrier Transicold will also present [R]eCool, a plug-in battery system developed with Addvolt for trailer refrigeration units. The system is designed to enable operators to convert existing diesel-powered semi-trailers to hybrid or fully electric operation, which can help reduce tailpipe emissions, fuel use and operating noise in certain duty cycles, while supporting fleet asset value. [R]eCool leverages Addvolt’s advanced power-electronic technology and includes a battery pack with an expected service life of more than 12 years based on typical operating conditions.
High-Efficiency Trailer Refrigeration Units
Carrier Transicold’s stand also will feature its High-Efficiency (HE) portfolio of trailer refrigeration units. The range includes the award-winning Vector HE 19 low carbon dioxide (CO2) trailer refrigeration system and the Vector HE 17, a leading unit for total cost of ownership in its category. These solutions are designed to support efficient operation across a range of transport applications.
Semi-Electric Refrigeration Technology
The stand also includes the Vector S 15 trailer refrigeration unit, which features a semi-electric architecture designed to deliver refrigeration performance comparable to the legacy Vector 1550 in diesel mode and reduce operating costs in certain applications.
Telematics and Fleet Optimization
Carrier Transicold will showcase the latest enhancements to Lynx Fleet telematics, designed to support customers throughout the lifecycle of their equipment. Lynx Fleet, supported by BluEdge service, helps operators monitor unit availability and gain greater visibility into fleet performance metrics, including energy- and refrigerant-related indicators, where available.
