Carrier Launches AiroVision® 39CV to Deliver Precision Cooling for Medium to Large-Scale Data Centres

MONTLUEL -

Carrier is expanding its QuantumLeap™ Solutions portfolio with the launch of the Carrier AiroVision® 39CV Computer Room Air Handler (CRAH), a high-performance precision cooling solution designed specifically for medium to large-scale data centres. Carrier is part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.

Developed and manufactured entirely in Europe, AiroVision® 39CV reflects Carrier’s commitment to innovation, energy efficiency and reliability, while reducing lead times and maintaining quality standards and EU regulatory compliance.

The 39CV offers a cooling capacity range of 20 to 250 kW and high energy efficiency with elevated chilled water temperatures, achieved through an optimised design that delivers significant energy savings, contributing directly to a lower Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE). The unit also features an intelligent control system, including a built-in smart controller that allows for real-time monitoring, adaptive control and native Building Management Systems (BMS) integration, which can be customised to meet specific operational needs.

Carrier has designed the 39CV to simplify deployment and improve reliability in demanding environments. All components are factory-integrated, which minimises on-site labour and commissioning time for easier installation. Dedicated features, such as an Auto Transfer Switch and ultra capacitors, reinforce high reliability and service continuity.

“The 39CV is a strategic addition to our QuantumLeap™ Solutions portfolio, designed to help data centre operators address today’s most pressing challenges: increasing thermal loads from higher computing densities, the need to reduce energy consumption to meet sustainability targets and the pressure to deploy solutions quickly and efficiently,” said Michel Grabon, EMEA Marketing and Market Verticals Director. “With its high-efficiency design, intelligent control system and factory-integrated components, the 39CV helps operators to improve energy performance, optimise installation time, and build scalable infrastructures with confidence.”

The 39CV supports advanced energy optimisation strategies, made possible by its high-efficiency design to work with elevated chilled water temperatures. This allows external chillers to operate more efficiently and supports free cooling strategies, which help reduce overall energy usage for facilities that require precise cooling and scalability.

The launch of the AiroVision® 39CV enhances Carrier’s comprehensive cooling offering, giving operators the flexibility to build optimised, end-to-end cooling architectures tailored to their site conditions and growth objectives.
