Carrier’s Lifecycle Asset Management Solutions Unveiled at London Event

LONDON, UK -

Carrier has launched a series of events that provide building operators and owners in major cities across Europe details about its lifecycle asset management capabilities. Carrier is part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.

Mega City London was the first event that explains how Carrier’s latest generation of chillers, state-of-the-art air handling units and highly efficient heat pumps combine with its building technology, controls, BluEdge® service and aftermarket solution to provide a lifecycle solution and management of assets that transform indoor environments. Carrier welcomed end-users from healthcare, education, banking, energy, transport and local authorities to the London Centre, the home of New London Architecture (NLA), to reveal how its suite of connected services can provide customers with energy efficient and sustainable benefits.

“Our goal is to help ensure our customers’ HVAC solutions operate at the optimum level,” said Ralph Davies, Head of Sales, Carrier Service. “This process starts the moment Carrier new equipment is installed and commissioned with remote connectivity.

“Each product is linked to our Abound™ cloud-based platform, enabling digital connectivity and continuous monitoring through our BluEdge service offering. This allows us to carry out preventive and predictive maintenance, maximize uptime and ensure optimal energy conservation. Our total asset management capabilities also include repairs, rental equipment, consultancy and the modernisation of units at the end of their life.”

Currently, 55% of people live in cities or urban areas around the world, and this is expected to increase to 80% by 2050. With 2050 less than three decades away, Carrier has identified other large cities across Europe where the decarbonisation of buildings and the need for indoor air quality will be vitally important. This year Carrier will host Mega City events in Paris, Madrid and Düsseldorf to demonstrate how it can provide long-term support for end-users.

Carrier’s innovative modernisation, service and aftermarket solutions contribute to the company’s 2030 Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) goals which include helping customers avoid more than 1 gigaton of greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
