Carrier Unveils Cooling Solutions at Datacenter Forum Oslo

GOTHENBURG, Sweden -

Carrier exhibited its data center solutions to a record number of professionals from across the Nordics at the ninth annual Datacenter Forum Oslo. Carrier is part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.

Visitors discovered Carrier’s AquaForce® 30XF-Z air-cooled chiller with integrated free-cooling, offering exceptional performance and features for data centers and industrial customers. This range complements existing efficient chillers, computer room air conditioners and air handling units and heat exchangers, to provide energy-efficient heating and cooling for server rooms and other types of IT spaces.

Carrier presented several sustainability projects during the forum including how its HVAC solutions recover heat generated from data centers. The heat is recovered by Carrier’s heat pump solution and used by more than 20 district heating grids across the Nordics and Europe, helping to reduce carbon emissions and enhance air quality.

"Carrier is perfectly positioned to provide lifecycle solutions to support the unprecedented growth and criticality of data centers," said Tim Ashton, Business Development Director, Nordics, Carrier. "Carrier’s range of smart and connected solutions are integrated across our portfolio with efficient and high-performing HVAC equipment, data center infrastructure management tools and building management systems to help data center operators use less power and improve operating costs and profitability for many years."
