Refritrans 2001 Named Carrier Transicold Spain’s 2015 Service Partner of the Year

Refritrans 2001, S.L.L. has been named Service Partner of the Year 2015 as part of Carrier Transicold Spain’s annual Performance Assessment and Competitive Excellence (PACE) awards. Carrier Transicold, which operates in Spain as Carrier Transicold Espana, S.A., is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

Refritrans, which provides transport refrigeration maintenance service in the Murcia area, achieved the highest platinum score in the 2015 PACE program, a direct result of the company’s consistently high standard of service quality and delivery.

Initially introduced in collaboration with Carrier Transicold Europe’s service partners and launched in Spain in 2014, the PACE program measures the performance of Carrier Transicold Spain’s network service partners against 26 rigorous key performance indicators (KPIs) spanning 40 individual service standards. KPIs include planned maintenance completion rates, breakdown response times, first-time fixes and spare parts availability.

“Every year, we adjust the PACE performance criteria to raise the bar even higher to ensure the program continues to develop in line with segment requirements,” said François Riveiro, managing director, Carrier Transicold Spain. “It gives our customers the confidence that our service network will deliver high standards of quality and service at all times.”

Carrier Transicold Spain’s 24/7 service network covers 27 locations throughout the country. Each service partner is an independent company, providing service for Carrier Transicold equipment. Together, these service partners employ more than 130 mobile service engineers who are responsible for the installation, service and repair of temperature-controlled equipment fitted to vans, trucks and trailers. Their roles include annual temperature control testing and certification as well as F-gas regulation compliance.
