We reached out to Cross Country Mechanical when we needed a new furnace as we had excellent experience with them on prior service calls many years ago. They are local to us and able to respond promptly with skilled technicians and have access to correct parts. When it came time to replace our 19 year old furnace with a failed secondary heat exchanger, I reached out to Ben and had him visit our house after regular business hours to assess the work that needed to be done, which I appreciate very much. Furnace replacement date was scheduled soon after and work was completed professionally and new furnace commissioned to service without any issues. Their office took care of warranty registration and we received a warranty certificate from Carrier via email already. This was not the case for our original furnace that was installed by a different contractor and this ended up costing us a lot of money over the years as warranty was limited to standard shorter term durations, so we can definitely appreciate that they are serious about closing the loop on a sale of new furnace even after invoice has been paid.

A very cold experience that I wouldn't want to have again.
Our furnace quit working on one of the coldest nights last week. I caalled Carrier Canada and they referred me to Cross Country Mechanical they set a tech out immediately to inspect and troubleshoot the problem. the Tech zeroed in on the problem as being a heat exchange failure. I decided that it was justified to replace the unit rather than repair a 16 year old furnace. as it was on a weekend we had ti wait to order the new one on the following Monday.
