Carrier Signs MOU with Lalji Mehrotra Private Industrial Training Institute in Mumbai to Establish HVAC Training Centre of Excellence

Carrier has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lalji Mehrotra Private Industrial Training Institute (LMTI) in Mumbai, to establish a Centre of Excellence for HVAC skill development. Carrier India, a part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, aims to develop future-ready HVAC talent through this collaboration by offering hands-on training and clear career pathways. 

The MoU was formalised during a signing event held at LMTI’s campus, attended by senior leadership from both organisations, faculty members and industry representatives. This collaboration is part of Carrier initiative aimed at advancing skill development in the HVAC sector. 

Partnering with leading industry bodies, Carrier India is bringing expert-led sessions to the Centre of Excellence to deliver an enriched and industry-relevant learning experience. Building on Carrier India’s longstanding commitment to skills development in India, the Centre of Excellence will function as a dynamic hub blending academic learning with practical industry expertise. It will deliver advanced HVAC training modules, collaboratively led by Carrier specialists and faculty from LMTI. The program includes specialised modules and guest lectures designed to equip students with high-demand competencies in intelligent climate and energy management technologies, ensuring they are well-prepared for the HVAC industry.
