Carrier Launches ALLWAYS Community Program to Support Frontline Outdoor Workers Against Extreme Weather

Carrier India, Carrier India, a part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, today announced the launch of the Carrier ALLWAYS Community Program, a corporate social responsibility initiative focused on building awareness and preparedness among outdoor workers who are exposed to extreme weather conditions such as heat waves, heavy rainfall, cold waves and poor air quality.

As a pilot, the program is being rolled out in Gurugram, in association with as the initiative's implementation partner. The first phase focuses on the city's active fleet of delivery riders, who spend extended hours outdoors, of whom approximately 5,000 to 6,000 are on the road daily. 

At the heart of the pilot is a combination of on-ground awareness and practical support. Carrier is distributing to participating workers, each containing everyday essentials such as a reusable water bottle, electrolyte sachets, wet wipes, sanitizer, and other weather-appropriate protective items designed to support hydration, hygiene, comfort, and well-being during long hours outdoors.

The program aims to help workers recognize early signs of heat stress and other weather-related health risks, understand preventive measures, and adopt safer practices during periods of extreme heat, heavy rainfall, cold waves, and poor air quality.
