Turns out the furnace had a huge problem with the heat exchanger and for safety reasons he had to red tag it and cut the power and gas off . So we had to go furnace shopping. Then we remembered about Edgar Simmons Heating a Company that's been in Peterborough for years .So we looked up the website and found out they have a new owner Todd Doris a local family man that brought over 20 years in the industry before he took over the company. We called and Todd came over and explained everything about furnace's and the operation of them and helped us pick one out for the size of our home and lifestyle we lead . We learned a lot about the operation of a furnace that helped us pick out the one we wanted . A few days later one of The Company's teams came over that were very professional , courteous and tidy they removed the old one and installed the new Carrier in no time and left the area spotless.
