We have been very pleased with Appleby Systems, from obtaining a quote to replace our existing a/c unit, to customer service, to the installation by courteous, professional staff.

Replaced 18+ year old furnace with new Carrier high\-efficiency product. Appleby Systems technician came quickly to assess the issue with the old furnace. Safety concerns on old furnace meant it could not be operated. Appleby identified that, based on model number of existing furnace, there was still a warranty on specific broken parts or option for rebate on new furnace. I decided to buy new furnace. Sales person came over within the hour to review various options available on type of furnace, the costs, warranty, maintenance plan, etc. Chose new Carrier high\-efficiency model that was installed the next morning. The quick timing for replacement was very important given we are in the coldest winter months in Canada. The installation technicians were professional, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. A great overall experience with Appleby for a product one takes for granted.

Appleby Systems were great \- I first used them for servicing of an A/C unit but then decided to replace entire HVAC system. After extensive market research, I again chose Appleby and I'm very pleased I did so. All work was carried out very well and the service staff were both competent and personable. Our new HVAC system was installed on July 9, 2020. Both the HVAC system and the installer Appleby Systems met our expectations. So far, after three weeks, the AC is working very well.

New Carrier Performance AC and Furnace installed in June to replace my 19 year old units of another brand. The guys came in and installed just like Ryan described. From the time of request to quote, to actual installation, the service was fast and friendly. There has already been some heat wave days, and we are quite happy with the performance so far. When they first fired up the AC, their was a loud whistling sound near the furnace but they came back a few days later and made the necessary tweaks and it sounds quiet now. You may pay a little more with them, but you definitely feel comfortable with their approach to sales and service. Would definitely recommend Appleby Systems.

We had a failed furnace situation and I found that the people at Appleby Systems were very knowledgeable when discussing the potential options for its replacement. They committed to an installation time and date and they continued working on it until it was completed. They resolved some old piping and value issues even though this took them longer to do. I was very impressed.

My 24 year old Carrier furnace was replaced quickly and efficiently with a new model by the technicians from Appleby Systems just in time for the cold weather.

The builder provided original furnace was starting to have issues after 14+ years hence I decided to get a new furnace. After searching on the web extensively I decided to go with the Carrier performance series which is carried by a very reputable local dealer. The no nonsense price quotes, detailed explanation, 10 yrs parts and labour warranty and the reputation of the dealer convinced me to go with the Carrier brand. The installation went without a hitch and the minor water leak issue I found out the day after was fixed within an hour after I made the phone call.

From first visit for quotation, Salesperson Ryan started by asking me why I wanted to replace my existing equipment, what concerns or issues I had. He listened and then reviewed my home layout and made suggestions. While my existing equipment was still working and 14 years old, I wanted to replace with more energy efficient systems. In past I had fan ON continuously for balance and comfort. I had some fan flow issues to distribute to the farthest room, some uneven heating and cooling throughout my home and noise inside my home based on location of return ducts. Ryan agreed that there are now options with more energy efficient equipment. He made suggestions for several Manufacturers and units that could handle my needs, and how to address noise issues with a unit that had body with sound installation and plenum with sound insulation. When I asked about the "size" of units (eg BTU for furnace, AC unit tons), Ryan explained why he sized the units the way he did, based on higher efficiency of newer units and new fan operation and my home layout. The installation was carried out on day planned. The team of installers stayed to ensure that all systems were setup and operating as required. They removed previous equipment and did clean up at end of installation. They used drop cloths where required inside my home. And they put up with my questions throughout the day while they were doing the installation. Ryan and Chris at Appleby Systems made me aware of different energy saving incentives available from Electricity and Gas providers and contacts for home energy audits.
