Sloppy work
Units and duct work look sloppy. Panels on units (inside and out) are missing screws, fail to line up, or are dented/damaged. My new units look like they are years old and have been mistreated. In the attic duct work is crammed together and uneven. Units in attic leak air at all crevices, line inputs, and seals. Outside units are wired incorrectly and don't run with both stages. I had no choice but to use this dealer because my home builder used them. When the units need serviced, and and they already do, I'll definitely call a reputable company. Not this one.

I've been using Air Specialist for about 11 years as my service provider for my AC. They installed my last Carrier AC system 11 years ago and my new Carrier system we just purchased. We also used them for our maintenance service provider over that same time period where they checked and serviced our AC twice a year in the spring and fall to assure we had no problems. At all times they have been courteous, professional, and they gave us a fair price for the product and their service. I would feel good about recommending them to anyone needing their services for sure! Before I retired I use to sell new homes for a living and my builder used them as our company to provide us with and install Carrier AC's in our new homes. I had purchased a unit from them before and was pleased. This time was different. They mis diagnosed the problem telling me I need a new compressor so I had a entire outside unit replaced. It turned out that after two days of diagnosis trying to get the new unit working, it was a fuse on the power line the whole time. They did provide good service trying to trouble shoot the new unit though. The installation manager and the quality control mangers both came out.
