A/C unit on roof was damaged in a thunder/wind storm. Technician Jorge was most thorough in step by step diagnosis ruling out the more simple and less expensive repairs truly hoping to get it running. Too much damage had been done so a new unit was in order. Hess was running a special of buy the outside condenser/compressor and your air handler/heater are free for which we opted. This is on South Padre Island where the temps were in the low 90's and humidities high 90's so a working A/C is not a luxury but a necessity, particularly since we had guests there and more coming. I made the decision to go all new on Thursday early afternoon, and by the next day we had a new unit in and cooling us off rapidly just in time for the new guests arriving. The installation team led by Juan, (with another brief assist from Jorge to get the new compressor/condenser unit up on my 3rd floor roof), worked quickly, politely, and cleanly through the whole install. Speed, efficiency, and honesty are all to rare these days, but hats off to Hess Air for having all these attributes in spades.
