Humidity Reading Is Incorrect

I have another identical thermostat downstairs and this upstairs one reads about 10% higher than actual. I've confirmed this with an ampro hand meter and another high end humidity reader. It really needs to be replaced with one more accurate or working correctly. Because its inaccurate the a/c runs constantly "dehumidifying".

Works well and seamlessly with system. Menus/options take some learning. Wish it had a way to notify me remotely when the system cycles on/off.

It works well and lets me get all the performance out of my Infinity system. I didn't think I would use the Carrier Smarthome app much, but I actually use the app all the time to adjust the temp or settings or check what the system is doing. It's easy to program your temp setpoints and comfort profiles (Sleep, Wake, Home, Away). The one thing that it doesn't do well is let you set how many days you will be away. I basically had to put it in Away mode indefinitely and then remember to set it to Home mode half a day before we arrived home.

SmartSave occasionally adjusts your thermostat set point or HVAC system up to 4 degrees, while giving you the flexibility to reset your thermostat to your desired comfort level at any point from the thermostat or the Carrier SmartHome app. Reducing energy usage during higher rate, peak demand periods contributes to electricity savings on your utility bill. 4. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
