My first year with a Carrier

This has been my first experience with a Carrier AC. My only concern to date was that when the service technician came out to do first year maintenance he told me the CAPACITOR was weak and I should consider having it replaced. It was under warranty but I still had to pay $80 to have the new one installed. Not a good sign.

Happy With The New Furnace

Since having this new furnace installed, it runs less than our old one. It is much quieter than our previous furnace and since it was exactly the same size as our old one, the installation was very easy.

1. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.

This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
