Concerned that final installation of A-Coil is not correct. Dealer confirms that it is correct.
New 5 ton Infinity Series condenser, furnace, and fan coils installed. Air Handler is a horizontal right installation. All information that I have gathered requires that the packaged horizontal A\-Coils come in a default horizontal left orientation. A\-Coils were not flipped per Carrier instructions (moving drain pan support bracket from left to right, condensate troughs to the opposite side of the coil, reverse the splitter and filter plates under the airfoil, reinstallation of air splitter, drain tube and condensate pan to right side) by installers. All of this assumes airfoil faces the blower. Currently wide end faces the blower. In addition, the extension condensate pan provided for horizontal right applications was not installed. I was told this was not necessary. I have installed 50\-100 ton commercial units on hotels and resorts, so I claim no experience on the Infinity Residential Lines installations. I am simply concerned that the installation is not correct. I have voiced my concerns, pointed out Carrier's schematics, referenced the extension pan, and shown the Carrier tech install videos to the installers. Everyone claims that I am wrong and they are right. I sincerely hope that I am wrong \- but I would still like someone from Carrier Corporation to confirm that everything is correct.
