I would not recommend this company at all!
I am so completely frustrated with Pyramid heating and cooling. I was unfortunately impressed by the sales guy that visited my house because he wasn't pushy and was very on point. After getting a few quotes I decided to go with Pyramid for an oil to gas conversion with a new furnace, AC, and air filter. What a mistake.... Throughout the whole process, I had to keep calling them to check on when things were going to be scheduled. When they did finally come out to put in my new equipment it took way longer than it was supposed to. Also they tried to put the gas line exposed in my finished basement and in the process put holes in my duct work. After I complained the service manager got angry and defensive with me on the phone and they tried to tell me it was a legitimate way to do things. The sales guy even said I agreed to have an exposed gas line, which I didn't. After the service guy came back the next day, he did redo the line and put it above the drop ceiling. Now why they couldn't do that in the first place, I can only guess was laziness and trying to do what was easy despite it looking horrible. I am not sure if it was because I am a female homeowner that they thought I wouldn't complain and wouldn't look up their lies when they tried to quote inaccurate regulations as to why they couldn't put it above the drop ceiling where it wouldn't be an exposed gas line in my finished basement. After finally getting the system in and working, it took a full extra day. They still had finishing work to do. I was told they would be back on Monday to finish the details, go over the equipment, etc. No one showed up on Monday and I wasn't called. I finally called myself and they scheduled me in for the next day. The service guy was very nice but I had to remind him to fill the holes in my duct work that he made and to do some other finishing touches which he forgot. I also was supposed to get my ducts cleaned but haven't been able to and have called three times now to find out if they are going to schedule it or just not charge me. I have not received a call back. At this point, I am beyond done with this company. I would never recommend them and would instead warn people to stay away. I do have understanding that this is a difficult time with COVID but to continue to drop the ball over and over, to have sloppy work, etc is inexcusable. I am happy with the equipment itself and I will say that the service guy tried to be helpful. Overall though, I do not recommend them and save yourself the hassle and find another company.
