Started out poorly, but they fixed the problem
They said lifting the unit so the coils got better airflow nd using a scoop to help the airflow, would improve the air flow upstairs, but it did nothing, maybe even made it worse, even though we replaced the AC and condenser unit. They did not match the blower capacity to the AC tonnage capacity correctly.

Dual HVAC replacement was sloppy
This was a replacement of two HVAC systems in the house with the highest\-end Carrier systems. The details were sloppy. E.g., the unit in the garage is not square to the walls and impedes slightly with a door. The two units outside are a bit misaligned with the house. In the attic, the floor insulation was not replaced adequately. The installation crew were friendly.

Customer service lacking, not confident of expertise
I purchased a heat pump system through Columbia. I have no idea what they did wrong, but apparently neither did they. It took many months to get the heat working properly, and their salesman consistently ignored my calls/outreach to fix issues. Their service providers and the Carrier master repairman were all friendly and persistent so the two stars are for them. I'm sure this would be a fine company to get some work done on routine maintenance but I would not recommend them for the purchase/installation of a heat pump.
