New Carrier Hybrid Natural gas Unit was quoted and as it was not in stock but got a timely commitment from Carrier on delivery. When Carrier dropped the ball on delivery as they did not even plan a new build in their current schedule even thought they had committed a timely delivery. Since my HVAC system is set up for this specific type Hybrid Unit I would be forced into a poor substitute. I have had this functionality since 1995 and this would be the 2nd replacement in 28 years. I was not very happy based on the situation and since I was out of the country I was relying on Green Dot to make it happen. Green Dot got Carrier to search all their stocking points and found a new unit in California and then got them to air deliver the unit to North Carolina. This was the one and only unit available so I feel very fortunate that Green Dot held Carrier accountable. In the interim Green Dot kept us abreast of the status and were looking at alternatives if Carrier failed on locating a unit.
