Non Standard filter size
Carrier Unit is a quality product but during installation a new plenum was installed that changed the old filter location. This new plenum opening was 1" larger (21" rather than 20") The unsupported edge buckled and got blown up into the unit rendering the filter useless. This required that the filter slot of the Carrier unit had to be used but that filter size is an odd dimension 21 1/2" by 16 3/8 which is not generally available in most stores that sell AC filters. Just a routine maintenance inconvenience.
