Carrier Showcases Why All Homes Should Start with Sustainable, Intelligent HVAC Solutions at International Builders’ Show

Carrier’s latest in resilient heating and cooling innovations and award-winning units were on full display at the 2024 International Builders’ Show in Vegas last week. The company’s solutions were also featured in the Construction Performance Zone as part of a three-day home build demonstration. Carrier is a part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.

As an exhibitor, Carrier previewed its newest addition to the connected controls lineup: the Carrier Smart Thermostat for entry-tier systems, a more affordable and easier-to-install connected thermostat option. Additionally, Carrier’s InteliSense™ technology returned as an option to help homeowners save time, energy and money while prolonging the lives of their units. Other solutions on display included: ductless units, including crossover and VRF, indoor air quality solutions, and the Infinity® ducted residential line.

One of the highlights from the show was the Construction Performance Zone live demo led by industry experts, including Carrier product leaders who provided an interactive presentation on the benefits of ductless crossover units. This offers an increasingly popular way to heat and cool homes by leveraging the flexibility associated with ductless systems and the home’s existing HVAC units and ductwork. As part of the three-day home build, two full Carrier systems were installed live, including the:

  • Ductless Infinity high wall and corresponding outdoor unit.
  • Infinity heat pump and the Infinity air handler.
  • Infinity system control.
