Carrier Air Conditioning Sales & Service (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (Carrier China) recently hosted its 2016 dealer conference in Guilin. More than 200 Carrier China dealers attended the two-day “Beyond Excellence”-themed conference, which highlighted new products, recapped achievements and recognized dealer excellence. Carrier China is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
George Li, vice president of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, China, thanked the dealers for a successful 2015. “The engagement and participation of our dealers in attendance reaffirms their commitment to Carrier China. We are proud of their support of our innovative, environmentally responsible technologies to help accelerate sustainable development in China,” said Li.
Carrier China reviewed the achievements of the last year, highlighted new products, like the AquaEdge™ 19XR large capacity centrifugal chiller and the AeroEdge™ 39CQ HU, and discussed growth opportunities in data center applications. In addition, Carrier China hosted two workshops entitled “discovery and solution of reengineering” and “channel expansion of modular and VRF.”
The conference also provided an opportunity to recognize more than 100 dealers who were awarded star-rated dealer certificates and distinguished contribution awards. And for the first time, Carrier China gave out the distinguished ethics award, honoring a dealer who upholds Carrier’s focus on the enterprise integrity and fair competition. The first winner of the distinguished ethics award was Henan Huanfa Engineering Co., Ltd.
“It is a really honor for our company to receive the first distinguished ethics award,” said Mr. He Lin, general manager, Henan Huanfa Engineering. “It means our business operations are aligned with the core values of Carrier and we plan to continue to operate with the highest level of ethics standards.”
