I prefer a true sealed combustion rather than just the top door. Bottom door is very hard to get in place so the latch will close. The condensate drain on up flow left side sucks. Other than that the product is O. K.

We are happy with our new carrier unit, but were not happy with Carrier Customer Service. When we called them, they gave us the name of a Carrier dealer in our area to instll the unit, but they were not taking any new customers. Then when I called for another name the senior level agent said that they would have someone call me in 24 to 48 hours with a new company. They never called. I went online and got it myself. No thanks to Carrier. Mind you we were without heat for a week. The company I found said they would take care of us even though we were outside of their area, Comfort Wizards. They were great.

1. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
2. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Lifetime heat exchanger parts limited warranty period is 20 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a lifetime heat exchanger parts limited warranty. See warranty certificate for details.
This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
