please keep in mind that this particular unit was put in by the builder of our home. I certainly have hurt enough about carrier to know that I believe they make good products in regards to heating and air\-conditioning. The wife and I personally had no say in what product was placed in our new home. However we are glad it's a carrier. Over the next 10\-20 years I hope to be able to tell you it was the right choice and we rarely had problems with this unit.

Unit was installed in new home. The house was vacant for a month and there was a leak in the system. Came back to find system running constantly and no cooling. The leek wasfixed and the system is running good. The system seams to be noisy but that could because it was running without freon for a period of time.

1. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.

This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
