This thing will wake the dead

I want to assure you I have no problem with Service Tech who installed it. I had a 16\-year\-old Intertherm Furnace I wanted to replace because of its age and the Service Tech pointed out some issues that would create problems later. And we are getting older and didn't want to worry about it failing doing the winter months. The only issue we had with the old Furnace was that the Inducer motor was on the noisy side but the operation of the Furnace was quiet. When the burner ignites on the new Furnace it can wake the dead I have had people tell me it sounds like a Torpedo Heater igniting and the noise from the Blower is also loud.

1. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.

This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
